UMIACS: Upcoming Talks

Upcoming Presentations by UMIACS faculty

•	UMIACS and CS professor Amitabh Varshney has been invited to deliver a joint plenary keynote on "Visualization and Persuasion" at the Symposium on Volume Graphics and the Symposium on Point based Graphics, September 2-4.
•	UMIACS and ECE Professor, Uzi Vishkin, is to give two tutorial sessions on thinking algorithmically in parallel. One will be on June 10, 2007 in San Diego, CA for the 34th International Symposium on Computer Architecture (ISCA) , as part of the 2007 Federated Computer Research Conference (FCRC). The other will be on June 17, 2007 in Seattle, WA for the 34th International Symposium on Computer Architecture (ISCA) which is part of the 2007 Federated Computer Research Conference (FCRC) held in conjunction with the 21st ACM International Conference on Supercomputing (ICS).
